FSUMC Habitat House Volunteers,

Thank you for volunteering! Help is needed Saturday morning, March 08. Please let David or I know if you can help March 08. Each Saturday work starts by 8:30AM and concludes around noon. Everyone scheduled to work should be at the worksite by 8:15.

Work dates are filling quickly. For those wishing to be part of this ministry please signup now. Dates workers are needed are as follows:

March 08
April 12
April 19
April 26
June 08 - Dedication date, everyone is invited.

Sunday school classes and church staff have taken some dates not listed. Sunday school classes need to provide a list of names, email addresses and phone numbers of persons scheduled to work. Your list can be emailed or phoned in to either David or I (contact info at bottom of page). If a particular Sunday school class doesn't have enough workers for the date their class is scheduled to work additional workers will be added. You will be informed if there are openings in dates not listed.

Thank you for volunteering to help with the Herman Blue House and to those working and attending the kickoff celebration Sat. 2/23. What a wonderful start to a great project!

Contact information listed in the church bulletin Sunday 2/24 for those wishing to sign up to work was listed incorrectly. The correct contact information for David: dhedgecock@bellsouth.net or 229-4898 and for Roger: TomJef@aol.com or 228-0130. It is important that you schedule a time to work. David Hedgecock and Roger Jefferson are co-coordinators of volunteers for the Herman Blue House. We will compose a list of workers for each Saturday during the project.

Some Sunday School Classes are signing up to work a Saturday. More are encouraged to do so! Also the church staff is signed up to work for a day!

If you are scheduled to work please note: In case of inclement weather call 226-3556 (it will answer Glen Raven Mills) enter ext. 7777 (Habitat for Humanity worksite info line). You will be informed by the outgoing only message if there is a worksite cancellation due to iffy weather.

FSUMC participation in Habitat for Humanity Herman Blue House construction starts tomorrow Saturday 2/23. There will be a kickoff celebration at the worksite at 8AM lasting about 30 minutes or so. You are invited to the celebration! Come show your support.

Directions to Herman Blue House worksite:
Follow Highway 62 North (Rauhut St) from Highway 70. After crossing Sharpe Road, bear right onto Lower Hopedale Road. Turn right onto the first street on the right (Ross Street-the street sign is down). Herman Blue Court is the first street on the right, across from the cemetery.
